Koz Architects, based out of Paris recently put up a new Sports Center in Saint-Cloud, a wealthy community on the outskirts of Paris. They really did a great job mixing modernism and an athletic facility, as strange as that statement sounds.

Really Amazing Hydroelectric Power Station

monovolume, the firm of architects Patrik Pedó and Juri Pobitzer recently put up a really beautiful hydroelectric power station in Winnebach, Italy. In regards to the project, the architects state:

“The station is conceived as an artificial rock quarried out of the slope. This sensation is underlined by a very reduced use of materials (concrete, glass and steel) in their rougher form, as well as by the “veins” which cross the volume. These “veins” consist of light bands of layered glass and run around the building. At some specific points of those light bands a normal single glass delivers insight to the power station’s bowels.”

‘House On The Water’ is a newly proposed building by Polish architects Jedrzej Lewandowski and Lukasz Skirzynski of formodesign. The design of the house is inspired by the architecture of yachts. Really beautiful building.

The Citadel is a newly designed floating apartment complex by architectural firm waterstudio NL. From the looks of it its yet off the drawing board, but waterstudio NL has created a website dedicated to the project where you can subscribe to the email list for more information. Better brush up on your Nederlands prior to visiting the site as there’s still no other language options.

Really playful architecture by Kavellaris Urban Design. The house is being dubbed the Perforated House and combines interior, architectural, and graphic elements in a really fun and interesting way. Click on the image to head on over to their website. Its definitely worth a viewing.
