While I&#8217;ve always been a fan of fire, I usually think home decor pieces with open flames look the decor at a cheep asian buffet. Fredrik Hyltén-Cavallius, however, has  recently created the Piet Indoor Stove, which is a beautiful accessory to have around.

I love these new Silicon Switches from Normal Design. The switch is hidden beneath a thin layer of silicon to activate the switch, you merely push it in. Really cleaver design and nice to see such an inventive use of materials.

Tokyo based Ben Nagaoka of Point created a really fun shelving unit for a library called The Yamakoya. Yamakoya means wooden-log cabin in Japanese. He uses some fun shapes to create a little drama in what far too often is a relatively basic piece of furniture.
